Yellow Ribbon honored again by given the opportunity to support Abby and staff (Mayo home care and hospice) by helping recognize veterans, Jim Tebbe, and Jerry Borgen for their service to our country. Listening to their experiences and being able to tell them face to face how much their country, and community honor their commitment to give above ones self. Thank you Potter Ridge staff, Lance, Daryl, and Trevor for taking the time to be timely with this pinning ceremony. A small peace lily from Hallstroms completed the event.
Men with a Mission
Over tie the core participants of our steering committee has changed. As with all volunteer organizations that I have belonged to, this one is no different. Sustaining the mission and core values of our group takes several individuals that demonstrate a willingness to stay the course. I , Dave, and Greg have shown that we are willing to be those committed individuals to carry on the mission of Hiawatha Valley Beyond the Yellow Ribbon! I am so grateful to have the chance to stand along such great American Patriots, willing to serve, sacrifice, and stay the course for Veterans, Service members, and their family members!
